Basic Newsletter Info...

We often get questions about our newsletter, how we got a certain email address, and other items. The most common answers are below.

• How did you get my email address?

  TrueTeenBabes has been online since July 2001. All surfers that subscribed in the first 5 years were automatically added to the email list, then removed when they ask.

  From 2001 to 2005 we had a small Yahoo fan club / group / forum that was used for free discussion of this site. When we stopped maintaining that group we transferred all the email addresses to our newsletter list. The groups are still within the Yahoo system and we continue to get a few new email addresses from that source, but we do not maintain or visit them.

  From 2004 to 2006 we also ran a small online teen model fan club / forum at NNPortal.com. Almost 6000 persons subscribed to that free site. When it closed we moved all those email addresses to our main list.

  From 2006 until 2009 we ran a small free teen model newsletter at JambaMail.com. It was used to promote our teen model sites and those of a few friends. Many of those other sites have closed. As of September 2009 we have closed JambaMail and moved all the emails here.

  February 2010 we purchased two online forums that included around 4700 email addresses and added them here.

  Over the years we have also purchased a few other websites. Any lists they maintained have been added here.

  We have combined all these recources over the years to have a master list that was over 58,000 email addresses. When we did mailings from JambaMail.com in 2007 and 2008 many messages would bounce back indicating that address is no longer valid. At other times persons would remove themselves from the list. Combined, those two actions have cut the list down to about 34,000 as of March 2010.

• How much does it cost?

  Not a darn cent. We maintian the list and newsletter solely so we can promote our products.

• Will I get lots of unwanted emails and SPAM?

  No... In 2007 and 2008 we sent a total of just 7 emails. Yes, just 7 emails over two years. In 2009 we sent just 2 (September and December).

  We promise to not send more than 6 emails in a year.

• Will other people be using the list to contact me?

  Absolutely not -- We want you to buy stuff from us! We do not sale, rent or lease our subscriber information or email lists to any third party. If you are going to spend money subscribing to a teen model website or buying teen model DVDs we want it to be here.

• Can I unsubscribe at any time?

  Yes, its real easy using the form on the main mailing list page here.

• Do you have a "Do Not Mail" list?

  Yes, if you wish to have an email address that is permanately deleted and can never be added back we do have a list for that. Just send an email message to Staff@trueTeenBabes.com and place the word "REMOVE" in the subject line.

  All those email addresses are kept on a seperate list. Each time we want to send a newsletter the program compares the main list and "Do Not Mail" list to remove any that may have accidently been added back to the main list. This keeps it clean and up to date.

• Do you have more mailing lists?

  Yes, there is a seperate mailing list kept for current subscribers only. That list is more active because it is sent with each update and when a subscription expires. Its a different situation with information only subscribers would want or need to know, not advertising like the free newsletter.
